He was predeceased by: his grandmother Canary Speaks; and his uncle Willie Lee Whitley. He is survived by: his mother Henrietta Whitley; his daughter Angelicka J. Whitley; his siblings, Donald E. Whitley, Sr. (Cassandra), Janice W. Hughes (Lee Wong), Angela James (Amos), Dina Johnson and Traci Myles; and his siblings' children, LeeShuan, DeWong, Taniqua, JaCaren, Amos III, Arianna, Kennedi, Donald, Jr. and Andrae, Jr.. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
