He was predeceased by: his parents, Peyton Earl Godbold, Sr. and Mattie Jean Evans Godbold; and his brother Peyton Earl Godbold, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Godbold Smith of Cortez, CO, Craig Godbold (Teresa) of Natchez and Ricky Godbold (Pam) of Natchez; his grandchildren, Joshua Smith, Tony Godbold, Jamie Rymer, Cristin Britt, Myra Perry, Sarah Godbold and Ryan Godbold; his brother Philip Godbold (Evelyn); and his sister-in-law Barbara Godbold of Eddiceton, MS. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
