He is survived by: his wife Wilma Cupstid Briggs of Natchez; his children, Barry Briggs of Texas, Bart Briggs of Alabama, Kim Graves of Vidalia and Kristi Aubin of Baton Rouge; and his siblings, Doris R. Williams of Texas, Betty Starks of Texas, Roy Briggs of Texas and Jerry Briggs of Texas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
