He was predeceased by: his mothers, Pearl Pickering and Lottie Emfinger Pickering; his wife Janice Pickering; his children, Steve Pickering, Betty Lou Pickering, Myra Jo Pickering, Audie Pickering and Calvin Ray Pickering; and his siblings, Gertrude Bedford of Doris Bedford, Paul, Charles and Jimmy.
He is survived by: his daughter Stacy Whitehead (Keith) of Roxie, MS; and his granddaughters, Molly and Katie.
