He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayward Benton Drane and Louisa Sloan Drane; his wife Eunice Ball Drane (Mary Saucier Drane); his siblings, Mary Catherine Drane Burnett, Mary Ethel Drane Anderson and Hayward B. Drane, Jr.; and his nephew Hayward B. Drane III.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dianne Drane Jones (David) of Mooresville, NC, Deborah Drane Cornelison (Tim) of Commerce, GA and Kathyrn Drane Nunley of Tumwater, WA; his grandchildren, Christopher Lee Cornelison, Michelle Cornelison Smith, Parker Lee Jones, Riley Benton Jones, Isaac Theodore Nunley and Joshua Aaron Nunley; and his great grandchild Sara James Cornelison.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) in memory of Erle Drane's tireless service to veterans and their families.
