He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Pascal Childers and Mary Elizabeth Stacks Childers; his wife Wanda Kay Stephens Childers; and his siblings, Sylvia Nolley, Robert Childers and Ronnie Childers.
He is survived by: his children, Annie Kent (Ben) of New Albany, Robin Littlejohn (Tim Russell), Nikki Salmon (Lee) of Ecru, Stephen Childers (Melissa) and Shane Turk (Patty) of Ecru; and his brothers, David Childers (Arkansas) and Jamie Childers (Memphis). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
