She was predeceased by: her parents, Wylie F. Sappington and Susan Blanche Cobb Sappington. She is survived by: her son Verl Wood, Jr.; her grandchildren, Daniel Wood (Amy), Hannah Wood, Alex Lott (Leah) and Morgan Whitehead (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Zeke Wood, Esther Wood and Scout Huddleston; and her brothers, Bill Sappington and Jerry Sappington. She is also survived by her family, friends.
