It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oberia Eve Hawkins of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, born in Biloxi, Mississippi, who passed away on April 7, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, O'Neil Paul and Leah Gaudet; her brother Horace Gaudet; her husband Lawrence Hawkins Sr.; her children, Robert Georges Sr., Raymond A. Hawkins, Lawrence Hawkins, Jr. and Oberia Breslin; her grandchild Shelley Jackson; and her great grandchild Jacob Jackson.

She is survived by : her sister Harriet Severson of Phoenix, AZ; her daughter Victoria Tucker of Ocean Springs; and her grandchildren, Stefanie Beaugez (Lawrence), Robert Georges Jr. (Felia), Reneé Melitos (John), Jennifer Poulin, Raymond Hawkins (Brooklyn), Tiffany Marks (Ronald Jr.), Kevin Jackson (Tiffany), Namon Bangs, Bridgette Bangs, Thomas Breslin (Karen), Mark Breslin (Jeannie), Lydia Lee (Rahshawn), Oberia Haines (Mathew), Alice Breslin and Andrew Breslin (Rachellé). She is also survived by many great grandchild, and great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Ocean Springs (502 Jackson Ave, Ocean Springs, MS 39564). A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 10:50 AM at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (504 Jackson Ave, Ocean Springs, MS 39564). A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Ocean Springs (502 Jackson Ave, Ocean Springs, MS 39564). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Biloxi National Cemetery (400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531).
