She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. Coleman and Lea Iler Akins Coleman; her children, Ricky Nabors and Dianne Grimm; and her siblings, Jimmy Coleman, Geneva Windham and Julie Locke.

She is survived by: her children, Nicky Wayne Nabors of Ripley, MS, Kenny Purser, Jr. of Olive Branch, MS, Jimmy Louis Purser of Memphis, TN and Karla Sprague of Olive Branch, MS; her brothers, Mike Locke of Blue Mountain, MS and Roger Locke of Blue Mountain, MS; her grandchildren, Elleana Norman and Shania Sprague; and her great grandchildren, Nova Marie Norman and Naomi Norman.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McBride Funeral Home, Inc. (206 N Commerce St, Ripley, MS 38663). A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
