He is survived by: his wife Mary White of Oxford, MS; his stepchildren, Jonathan Poole (Alison) of Chattanooga, TN and Meredith Martin (Brent) of Tupelo, MS; his grandchildren, Case Martin of Tupelo, Josh Martin of Philadelphia, PA, Walker Poole of Oxford, Logan Burke of Marks, MS, Graydon Burke of Clarksdale, MS, Thomas Poole of Chattanooga, Will Miley of Flowood, MS, Samantha Burke of Oakland, MS, Katie Poole of Starkville, MS, Ella Burke of Clarksdale and Hannah Poole of Chattanooga; his nephews, Robert Burke (Kellie) of Clarksdale and William Burke of Marks; and his sister Jessie Burke of Clarksdale. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford (601 Commerce Pkwy, Oxford, MS 38655). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In place of traditional flowers, the family has requested that donations be given to the charity of the donor's choice of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://tinyurl.com.), LeBonheur Children's Research Hospital (https://secure2.convio.net), or First Presbyterian Church of Water Valley (http://www.fpcwatervalley.org).
