He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Alice Stanfill and John M. Durham; and his siblings, Joe Allen, William Dwight and Mavis Crotts.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Wood Durham of Oxford; his children, Jeffrey Dean Durham of Atlanta, GA and Michelle Renee Durham of Memphis; his stepdaughter Nicole Fowler Kamman (Trey) of Oxford, MS; his sister Norma Janice Leggett (Don) of Jackson, TN; and his grandchildren, Chase Durham of Memphis, TN, Caroline, Jake and Barrett Kamman of Oxford, MS..
