He was predeceased by: his mother Gracie Babin Sr. Philip; his wife Meretta A. Babin; his brother Floyd Babin Sr. (Meretta Babin); and his great grandchild MaKaylah Huckabay. He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Huckabay (Donald), Phyllis Yap (Henry), Melinda Warner (David) and Patricia Palang (Jerry); his siblings, Shirley Moran, Emile Babin and Harry Babin; and his grandchildren, Gary Hoda Jr., Johnny Huckabay, Ashley Huckabay, Derrick Lizana, Antonio Palang, Sean Warner, Trinity Yap and Alexandrya Palang. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; and his loving nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives.
