We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2021, at the age of 85, Peggy McAlister in Pelahatchie, Mississippi, born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her daughter LaDonna Thompson; her grandchildren, Renee Thompson Nester, Jay Thompson (Sarah Catherine Thompson), Molly Kuhn and Kendall Kuhn; her great grandchildren, Wes Nester, Laken Nester, Jacob Thompson, Cross Thompson and Emma Kate Thompson; her siblings, Marshall Walters, Billy Walters, Carl Walters and Gloria Smith; her husband Edwin "Ed" McAlister; her daughter Melenda McAlister; and her grandson-in-law Jake Nester. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pelahatchie Baptist Church, FBC Fannin, Lake Baptist Church or Lake Baseball Booster Club.
