As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lucila Barahona may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jorge Donaldo Chavez; and her parents, Angel Barahona and Mercedes Martinez. She is survived by: her daughter Karla Tuesta; her son-in-law Hector Tuesta; her son Jose Donaldo Chavez; and her daughter-in-law Karina Valazquez. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, May 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunrise Baptist Church Cemetery (299 Sunrise Rd, Petal, MS 39465).
