She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Tidwell and Jettie Tidwell; her husband Gary E. Adkins; and her brothers, Herbert Tidwell and Billy Tidwell.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Ann Thomas (Phil) of Greenbrier, Arkansas and David Adkins (Amy) of Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Rebecca, Cullen, Luke Thomas of Greenbrier, Ethan Adkins of Philadelphia and Allyson Crawford (Ryan) of Philadelphia; her great grandchildren, Ryleigh-Paige, Jordy Lane and Emmy Ray Crawford of Philadelphia; and her sister Ouida Kahlstorf (David) of Ridgeland, Mississippi. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideons International or to Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children in memoriam of Mrs. Dimple Adkins.
