He was predeceased by: his parents, Quinn Joiner and Iva Mae Reynolds Joiner; his wife Sallie; and his siblings, Mazelle Watkins, Lillian Rickles and Arlo Joiner.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Joyner (Carol) of Denver, CO, Jessie Joyner (Lupe) of Colorado Springs, CO and Julie Sadler (Bill) of Dallas, TX; and his siblings, Junior Joyner of Union, Billy Joyner (Audine) of Union and Nanette Winstead (Wayne) of Union. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren.
