He was predeceased by: his parents, Erskine Barton and Gladys Russell Barton; and his wife Charlotte Neal Barton. He is survived by: his children, Penny Barton, Scott Barton (Samantha Underwood), Chris Barton (Sarah) and Eric Barton; his grandchildren, Aron Barton, Karye Barton McCord (Lynn), Ethan Earnest and Bradley Barton; and his great grandchild Hart McCord.
