He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Wray; his parents, Alfred Wray and Ruby Wray; and his sister Betty Tidwell. He is survived by: his children, David Wray (Kim), Robert, Jason Wray Pontotoc, Shelly and Kelly Wray Ferguson (Joey); and his brothers, Jimmy Wray, Wayne Wray and Rickey Wray. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
