He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Turner Holcomb; his sons, Bruce Holcomb and Dr. Mark Holcomb; his grandchildren, Michael Boyd McCarty, Angela McCarty and Kaylee Holcomb; and his great grandchild Austin James McCarty.
