He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Louise Gazaway Hurst and George Bernard Hurst; and his brother George Allen Hurst. He is survived by: his daughters, Chasity Hurst of Delta, LA and Karli Clark of Maben, MS; his sisters, Stephanie A. Hurst of Algoma, MS and Betty L. Hurst of Algoma, MS; and his grandchildren, Claira of Delta, LA and Kason of Vicksburg, MS. He is also survived by seven nephews and eight nieces.
