It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Fay Horton (Pontotoc, Mississippi), who passed away on October 22, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Barles Tedford and Lovie Tedford; her husband Clayton Horton; and her siblings, Lester Tedford and Dell Raines.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Horton (Kim), Terry Horton (Teresa) and Linda Rogers (Bart); her grandchildren, Blake, Bryce Horton, Anna Beth Horton, Mary Grace, Mercy Horton, Jessica Rogers, Clayton Horton and Ashley Evans; her great grandchildren, Emma Hicks, Hudson and Hayes Evans; and her siblings, Dean Tedford, Marie, Grace, Ruby, Peggy and Nancy. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Due to concerns over the Covid-19 pandemic, a private graveside family service was held on Sunday, October 25th with Rev. Sherry Horton officiating with burial at the Ecru Cemetery.
