She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lee and Pearl Lee; her son David Alexander; her sister Dorothy Britt; her husband Thurman Roger Palmer, Sr.; and her close friend Howard Higgins.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Cobb (Ronnie), Sylvia Smith, Wanda Christian (Dwight), Brenda Taylor, Michelle Grisham (Johnnie), Billy Alexander (Rita) and Thurman Roger Palmer, Jr. (Jennifer). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
