He is survived by: his friend Bufford Glissen; his wife Shelia Smith of Pontotoc; his stepdaughter Melisa Potts of Thaxton; his siblings, Peggy Herman of Ripley and Larry Winkles (Inez) of Ripley; and his grandsons, Xavier and Jonathan Perce. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
