She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Gregory and Gertrude Gregory; her siblings, Ruth Britt, Madgelene Tutor and Harold Wayne Gregory; and her son-in-law Roger Cruse.
She is survived by: her husband Edd Brown; her daughters, Diane Sprouse (Danny) and Faye Miller (Donald); her stepson Bobby Brown (Judy); her granddaughter Meghann McCarver (Brian); her great grandchildren, Max and Mia Catherine McCarver; and her sisters, Lavonia Hadley, Laberta Pennington and Louise Tutor.
