She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dick Dillard and Winnie Dale Carwyle Dillard; her son Michael Paul Kelly; her husband James Smith; and her siblings, Virginia Edwards, Sarah Dillard, Martha Joyner and Windham Dillard.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Scruggs (Jason) and Bubba Bartlett (Christy); her granddaughters, Cori Taylor, Caitlyn Cook (Alex), Carli Scruggs, Cat Scruggs, Claire Scruggs and Georgia Bartlett; her great grandchildren, Rowyn West, Paisley, Addisyn Cook and Kye Young; her brother Bobby Dillard; and her sister-in-law Patsy Boutwell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
