He is survived by: his wife Anita Holloway Wingo; his children, Jacob Wingo (Hope) and Carol Anne Wingo McKnight (Rusty); his grandchildren, Payton Claire Wingo, Dawson Hampton and Carson Leigh-Anne McKnight; and his sister Melanie Sellers (Donnie).
