He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Phillips and Emma Willis Phillips; his brother Johnny Phillips; and his great-niece Emma Phillips. He is survived by: his siblings, Donnie Phillips (Maxine) of Pontotoc, Kenny Phillips (Teresa) of Pontotoc, Sheila Roberts (Tommy) of Baldwyn and Martha Irby of Saltillo; his nieces and nephews, Tommy Phillips, Jamey Phillips, Andy Roberts, Justin Irby, Karmandy Yates (Cliff), Lenita Cobb (Brandon), Nicole Cook and Heather Brooks; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Devin, Tristian, Sebastian Yates, Clint, Phoenix Cobb, Braxton Tollison, Kolton Morrow, Taylor Yates and Emma Cook.
