It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thurston Lamar Kimp of Pontotoc, Mississippi, who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sonny and Estelle; his wife Onnie Bell Kimp; his son Dexter Lee Kimp; his brothers, Charles Edward Kimp (Gertrude) and Bobby Joe Kimp; his granddaughter Olivia Westmoreland; and his great grandchild Caiden Lindsey.
He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Miller and Willie Johnson; his sisters, Ada Bell Dogan, Mary Joyce Addison, Barbara Patricia Moore (Robert) and Roberta Kimp; his grandchildren, Anthony Lindsey (Erica), Monica Chewe (Samuel), Anthony Lindsey Jr., ShaRon Lindsey, Vashaun Lindsey, Kelvie Phillips, Jaymon Eskridge, Tevin Cannon, Brooke Lindsey, Lyric Smith, Monea Lindsey, Terrance Thomas and Marcus Thomas; his cousins, Emma Jean Harrell, JoAnn Flowers and Willie Turner; and his close friend Elaine Green. He is also survived by great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
