It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe McGehee of Pope, Mississippi, who passed away on December 26, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Sanders McGehee, Sr. and Evelyn Roberson McGehee; and his brother James "Jimmy" McGehee. He is survived by : his wife Peggy Mills McGehee of Pope; his daughters, Emily McGehee Gaines (Preston) of Courtland, Erika McGehee Jaco (Austin) of Batesville and Melissa McGehee of Memphis; his siblings, Jake McGehee (Claudette) of Batesville and Michele McGehee of Batesville; and his grandchildren, Clayton, Joseph, Avery, Jason, Jacob and Julianna. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
