He is survived by: his father Harvey Hartzog, Sr. of Silver Creek, MS; and his siblings, Calvin Stringer of Prentiss, MS, Shirley Hill of California, Beatrice Coleman of Hazlehurst, MS, Helen Simon of Texas, Kim Jackson of Prentiss, MS, Carolyn Ross of Prentiss, MS and Yolanda Griffith of Monticello, MS..
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ruby K. Johnson Chapel, Prentiss, Mississippi (1545 3rd St, Prentiss, MS 39474). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
