We bid farewell to Sarah Jo Lindsey of Poplarville, Mississippi, born in Elba, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 10, 2025 at the age of 88. Sarah Jo touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Harris Lindsey; her parents, Voun D. Smith and Leila Miles Smith; her siblings, Billy Dwight Smith and Diane Miley; her son Ronald Bruce Lindsey; her grandson Phillip Chad Lindsey; and her pet Porkchop.
She is survived by: her son Phillip H. Lindsey (Melissa); her grandsons, Kyle Lindsey (Elizabeth) and Daniel Cooper; and her great grandchildren, Liam, Laiken, Lily, Chad, Josh and Callie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mitchell Chapel Church of God (98 Mitchell Chapel Rd, Poplarville, MS 39470). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
