She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Henry Sones and Laura Sones; her parents, Wilmer Sones and Odell Sones Ladner; her aunt Frances Lucille Sones; and her siblings, Henry Lavelle Sones, Lonnie Sones, Laney Paul Sones and Peggy Sones Tillman.

She is survived by: her children, Robert M. Owens (Elizabeth) of Greenfield, MA, Timothy Owens (Karen) of Poplarville, MS and Michelle Owens of Poplarville, MS; her grandchildren, Nicole Cisse (Lamine) of Greenfield, MA, Danielle Owens of Greenfield, MA, Deanna Owens Jones (Angela) of Poplarville, MS, Leslie Turner (Kyle) of Greenfield, MA, Kalyn Pullens (Nolan) of Poplarville, MS and Garrett Owens (Julie) of Poplarville, MS; her great grandchildren, Oumar Cisse, Ryan Turner, Jamey Owens, Parker Pullens, Waylon Owens, Easton Turner, Pepper Pullens and Anderson Owens Jones; and her siblings, Larry Sones, Sr. of Poplarville, MS and Laura Dianne Wells (Archie) of Poplarville, MS..

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Oak Hill Pentecostal Church (604 Oak Hill Rd, Poplarville, MS 39470). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
