With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Gage (Port Gibson, Mississippi), born in Forrest City, Arkansas, who passed away on January 6, 2020 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dick Payne and Winnie Payne; her husband Nick Gage; her children, Dick Gage and Libba Hynum Torrey; and her brother Albert Payne.
She is survived by: her son Hal (Betsy Gage); her son-in-law John L. Torrey; her sister Sue Garland; and her grandchildren, Nick Gage (Molly), Maury Wahtera (Kirk), Rosanna Kays (Steve), Lee Hynum (Cindy), Nick Hynum (Nikki) and Payne Cobb (Chad). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
