With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Hilere Leggett Sr. (Purvis, Mississippi), born in Union Church, Mississippi, who passed away on October 4, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Nell; his son Eddie; his parents, John Warren and Colula Barksdale; and his siblings, Allie Mae Minton, Iva Kimble, Robbie Lee Curry, Lillian Godman, J. D. Leggett, Grady Leggett, Thomas Leggett, Nelson Leggett, Willard Leggett and Clifford Leggett.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Leggett, Jr. (Kathy), Ann Dungan (Gerald) and Ruth Mossor (Steve); and his daughter-in-law Leasa Leggett. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
