She was predeceased by: her husband Ira Elliott; and her children, Tommy Lavon Elliott and Carolyn Sangster. She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Rutledge (Arnold) of Purvis, MS, Lavonna Herring (Mike) of Purvis, MS and Deborah Johnson of Purvis, MS; and her brother Zelmer Robert "Sonny" Crain, Jr.. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren.
