He was predeceased by: his parents, John Grady Tucker and Nora Ella Tucker (Pickard); his grandson Tucker Bryce Shirley; and his brothers, Jimmy Darrel Tucker and James Grady Tucker.
He is survived by: his wife Paulette Tucker; his children, Eric Tucker, Monica E. Shirley (Leon) and Lisa M. Cates; his siblings, Larry Tucker and Geraldine Laird; his grandchildren, Grant Shirley, Dalton Tucker, Madelyne Miller, Mason Tucker and Amber Cates; and his great grandchildren, Tucker Rhett Shirley, Kayleigh B. Davis and Joshua Davis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family.
