He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Earl Jacobs and Myrtle Thelma Jacobs (Huddleston); and his brother John Henry Jacobs. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Day Jacobs; his stepsons, Charles Daniel Day and Bradley Lamar Day; his siblings, Jesse E. Jacobs, Donald Ray Jacobs and Thelma Elaine Stephens; and his nephew Joseph Benjamin Jacobs.
