It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Lowery of Raleigh, Mississippi, born in Mize, Mississippi, who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Lowery and Linnie Lowery; and his siblings, Thurman Lowery, Herman Lowery, James Lowery, William Lowery, Pat Lowery, Wayne Lowery, Lucille Walters, Peggy Stewart, Ruth Luckey and Ruth Scott.

He is survived by : his daughters, Christy Lowery English (Ricky) and Amy Lowery Carroll (Randy); his grandsons, Brody English and Jameson Carroll; and his siblings, Janie Hetrick, Jerry Lowery (Isabell) and Billy Lowery. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to current Covid precautions, private services will be held for immediate family.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to MS Care Center of Raleigh Patient Activity Fund.
