It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Edward Fortenberry of Raleigh, Mississippi, who passed away on September 18, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Maurine Pugh Fortenberry; and his parents, Rufus Cleveland Fortenberry and Ruth McWilliams Fortenberry. He is survived by : his daughters, Sue Mason, Velma Elizabeth Bullock, Carolyn Dunigan (Ronald) and Janice Rummel. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and many other nieces, nephews, and extended family.
