He is survived by : his wife Beatriz Downs; his children, Jamie Downs, Justin Mason (Renee Mason), Valentina Piedrahita Diosa and Santiago Sampedro Diosa; and his siblings, Sara Rostanzo (Nick) and Joel Downs (Sherry). He is also survived by his ten grandchildren.
