He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Sally Young and Margaret Blasengame Young; and his brothers, Bob Young, Bill Young and Paul Young.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Hazel Young; his children, Brian Young (Stephanie) of Oxford, MS and Tracy Besinger (Paul) of Walnut, MS; his sister Barbara Young Bishop of Olive Branch, MS; his sister-in-law Nellita Young of Hernando, MS; and his grandsons, Carter Young of Dallas, TX and Grant Young of Oxford, MS..

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
