She was predeceased by: her father Charlie Sly Jr.; her daughters, Ashley Sly and Allyson Anderson; and her brother Rodney Sly. She is survived by: her mother Verper Sly; her children, DaShawn Sly (Bianca) of Columbus, Ohio and Ronnesha Whitfield of Atlanta, Georgia; her grandchildren, Shaun, Melanie, ZaeDyen, Kori, A'Janae and Charrod; her siblings, Charlie Sly III (Josie) of Dayton, Ohio, Janice Dennis of Dayton, Ohio, Scotty Sly of Dayton, Ohio, Michelle Sanders (Andre) of Dayton, Ohio and Felicia Sly of Dayton, Ohio; her aunt Bessie Figgers; and her close friend Cynthia. She is also survived by aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Timothy Missionary Baptist Church (4466 Free Pike, Dayton, OH 45416). A repast will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at the same location.
