He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Douglas Rogers; his sister Cecil Rogers Byrd; and his sibling's children, Sue Byrd Dickens and Jimmy Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Rogers; his sister Bobbie Rogers Mulrooney; and his sibling's children, Jan Kelly (Travis), Cynthia Thomas, Debra Sullivan (Robbie), Nita Boudreaux (Charlie), Delmar Richardson, Keith Richardson (Ruth), James Richardson (Phyllis), Tim Richardson (Sheri), Milton Richardson (Sue), David Richardson, Suzanna Barham Griffith, Kevin Byrd, James Byrd, Brad Kelly, Timothy Richards, Timothy Boudreaux, Aaron Boudreaux and Ken Hisaw. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
