With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George C. Rowell Jr. of Sandersville, Mississippi, born in Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on September 13, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George C. Rowell Sr. and Ruby Lee Elfring; his son George Kelly Rowell; and his brother Ken Rowell. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Rowell; his daughters, Karman Holifield (Chris) and Kandi Scarbrough (Robby); his grandchildren, Ashley Elmer, Kane Rowell (Lindsay), Kristin Holifield and Seth Scarbrough (Raegan); and his siblings, Danny Rowell (Eva), Hazel Calbert and Barbara Thatch (Bobby).

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to his church.
