He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Danny Burl Carr, III; his father Earl Carr; his significant other Bobbie Smith; his daughter Tangela Burkes (John); his grandchildren, Christopher Burkes, Nicholas Burkes and Jaylen Carr; his mother Gracie Carr; and his siblings, Nancy Sweeting (Bob), Linda Poole, Betty Ladner (Larry), Gail Dill (Bennie), Kathy Easterlin (Gary), Terrell Carr, Clinton Carr (Mary Ann) and Pastor Dan Carr (Mickey). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
