She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert II and Dorothy Pierce II (Saucier); her stepson Keith Broadus; and her siblings, Robert Pierce III, Randy Pierce, Joann Pierce and John Russell Pierce.

She is survived by: her husband Faron Broadus; her son Chase Broadus (Samatha); her granddaughter Aria Caylen Broadus; and her sister Celice Murphy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and life-long friends.
