He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayes Joseph and Christine Elizabeth Lizana (Berry); his brothers, Richard and Leonard Lizana; his granddaughter Amber Nicole Lizana; his nephew Jeff Martin; and his great-nephew Little Lance Norton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Barnes (Brock) of Gulfport, Mary Beth Ard (Edward) of Lagrange, GA and Theresa Bowen (Todd); his siblings, Linda Norton of Pulaski, TN, Shirley McGee of Dayton, TN, Diane Trejo (Joe) of Biloxi, Karen Lee of Gulfport, Tina Dauro (David) of Leesburg, GA, Henrietta Ladner (Bay) of Gulfport, Harold "Peanut" Lizana of Thibodaux, LA, David Lizana (Jan) of Carriere and Glen Lizana of Biloxi; and his grandchildren, Zarah Ard, Christian, Sybil Bowen, Brandon, Matthew Boothe, Ciera Agee, Amy Garrett, Kairi, Kaiden and Phoenix Boothe.
Due to the covid-19 situation, the family has set everything graveside for Thursday morning, Dec. 10, 2020 at Wolf River Cemetery.
Before we get into telling his story, Doug's personal request was that in lieu of flowers, he would rather his family, friends and others make a donation to the American Cancer Society, because that's the kind of guy he was.
