He was predeceased by: his wives, Elma Sanford Hicks and Beatrice Kidd Hicks; and his parents, Thomas Franklin Hicks and Ruth Sanford Byrd. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Hicks of Florida, Harold Hicks (Sandra) of Memphis, Renee Turner (James) of Foxworth and Billy Styron of Ellisville; his sister Dorothy Hicks Cooley of Seminary; his nieces and nephews, Connie McLemore of Seminary, Doris Woods of Seminary, Bill Cooley of Seminary and Frank Cooley of Seminary; his close friends, Patricia and Roger Gingrich; and also Markell Gingrich Carter. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
