We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2020, at the age of 97, Ruby Morris of Shannon, Mississippi, born in Sulligent, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Margie Pitts and Houston Pitts; her husband W. D. Morris; her son Charles Houston Morris; and her siblings, Leon "Doc" Pitts, Laurence Pitts, Lamar Pitts, Lonnie Pitts and Laura Otts.

She is survived by : her daughter Brenda Hardin (Paul L.) of Shannon; her brother Clarence Pitts (Billie Joyce) of Sulligent, AL; her siblings-in-law, Bobbie Jean Pitts, Shirley Benefield and Troy D. Morris (Betty); her grandchildren, Paul Wade Hardin (Sherry) and Shelly Lauderdale; her great grandchildren, Hunter Hardin (Hannah), Luke Lauderdale, Jake Lauderdale, Kristie Thompson and Matt Thompson (Summer); and her great great grandchildren, Hanson Wade Hardin, Mark Thompson, Dustin Thompson, Andrew Thompson, Madelyn Thompson, Jake Jones and Blalyn Oliver. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
