It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester Joezeal Berry of Silver Creek, Mississippi, who passed away on July 9, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cabe S. Berry and Martha Keen Berry; his daughter Winona Berry; his siblings, Cabe S. Berry, Jr., Earl Sexton Berry, Thomas Eual Berry, Virginia Brabham, Louise Robertson Brent, Ina Belle Cottrell Embree and Pauline Armstrong; and his great grandchild Cabe Joezeal Pierce.
He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Joe and Westerns; his grandson Louis L'Amour; his wife Becki Berry of Silver Creek, MS; his children, Doris Little of Sardis, MS, Jannibeth Spear of Walker, LA and Jory Scott (Chrissy) of Oak Grove, MS; his siblings, James S. Berry of Byram, MS, Esther Thornhill (James) of McComb, MS and Ellen Sills (Roland) of Pearl, MS.; his grandchildren, Tonya, Tina, Liza, Alyssa, Kolton, Stephanie, Chris, Vicki, Tiffany, William and Wayne; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Mary Grace, Lane, AylaMarie, Luna, Star, Emma, Hannah and Gage; and his pets, Mollie and Prissy.
Memorials may be given in memory of Lester Joezeal Berry to the Wounded Warrior Project.
